Volunteer Levy Info

In the 2011 season, the club implemented a volunteer levy of $50 per player. The committee has found it necessary to bring in the levy due to the increasing costs and labour required to run Oxley United FC. We hope that the introduction of the levy will help foster a culture within the club where more Parents and players will give up some of their time to help with the many things that need to be done.

The levy of $50 is to be paid at the beginning of the season.

A senior player, or junior player parent is able have their $50 levy reimbursed at the end of the season if they assist with any of the following tasks:

  • Junior Managers who return a full set of strips
  • Coaches who return all equipment on presentation day
  • Attend two working bees as advertised on website (These are advertised on a fairly regular basis on the web site)
  • Assist with fundraising events
  • Volunteer to cook BBQ on a couple of Saturday mornings

If anyone feels they cannot perform any of the listed tasks, but would like to earn their levy back, there are plenty of other jobs which can be done - email the Oxley hotmail account oxleyunited@hotmail.com, or approach any committee member to discuss further. We will be able to find something for you to do

Once you have assisted with one or more of the above tasks there are a few options for reimbursment of the fundraising levey:

  • Donate it to the club to help raise much needed funds for running cost etc
  • Roll it over to pay the next years' levy
  • Use it as payment to attend senior presentations night
  • Provide bank account details so the club can deposit $50 into your account.
