They will be looking to win back to back pre season cups with their success last year at the QT Cup. 

Our depth will be severely tested as our senior teams have 4 games that day   (Saturday 4th Feb) with our Met 2, Reserves and Prem teams all playing that same day against slacks Creek at 3-5 and 7PM at Slacks Creek. Please come along and show your support the first of 4 big games kicks off at 12 PM at Holland Park against UQ.

We will be holding an additional opportunity to register at the ClubHouse next Tuesday night the 7th February from 5pm - 6pm. Please come and register on this night if you wish to play in 2012. Online registration is still available, you can register online anytime and come and pay on Tuesday 7th February. 

Please note: It is extremely important to register with us BEFORE muster night as we will be formulating our teams over the next week (especially for competitive teams from Under 12). We need to know how many players we have in each age group so that we can work out how many teams we will be able to register and let potential players know what teams we will be fielding. Even if you are a returning player from last year and your Manager or team knows you will be playing, we still need you to register so that we know your child will be playing. If you are a Manager or Coach from previous years can you please confirm this with all your players from last year in case they haven't received the email. Thank you. If we are unaware that players are returning until muster day it makes it very difficult to keep returning players together etc.

Due to the wet weather it will be played on our second field. We were unable to mow it however the grass length is still very much playable with no puddles. Thanks to Steve it is being marked now!

Please go to the Juniors section of the website where you will find all of the details on how to register online if you wish to. These instructions are written by Football Federation Australia and this is how online registration has to be done by every club in Brisbane. The instructions may seem onerous, but it is actually quite straight forward once you obtain your log in.

If you wish to register online, please follow these instructions and print out your invoice and bring it to the club this weekend with payment. If you are entitled to a discount for multiple children, this amount will be adjusted at sign-on. If you do not receive your invoice or password at your designated email address, please check your junk email folder.

If you are registering multiple children - each child has a different FFA number and must be registered separately.

Please Note: Registering online means you are registered with FFA to play at Oxley, but it does not guarantee you to play in a particular team or age group with Oxley until Muster day when all registrations have been determined. We are unable to confirm how many teams of particular ages we will have or the make up of those teams until after all players have registered and we know how many players have signed up for each age group. Thank you for your understanding of this.

If you do not wish to register online, there will be forms which can be completed at the club at sign on as in past years.

Craig will not only work closely with myself and the first team but also Stephen Don and Kyle Greene with the Met 2 team passing players up and down between the teams as the season progresses. Craig has come from Taringa Rovers and has also previously coached the RAAF Qld side. What a year to be at Oxley United!

We are looking forward to another successful season in 2012 and celebrating our 100th season. If you are interested in registering a player for our Junior competition in 2012, it is essential that you attend sign on this weekend. Teams for the 2012 season are arranged from this weekend and if you have not signed on, we will not know that you are playing and you will not be assigned to a team.

If you would like to play in 2012, but are unable to attend the sign on weekend, please email oxleyunited@hotmail.com to let us know and arrange an alternative sign on time.

This year, there will be the opportunity to register on- line prior to the weekend if you wish. The instructions for completing this on-line will be sent in an email later this week when the system is ready for on-line registration.

Please note: if you choose to register on-line, you will still need to print out the form and bring it to the club on the sign on weekend with payment.
